The 250SX West Region returns from a seven week break this weekend in Seattle, but will be missing a familiar face in Austin Forkner.
The Monster Energy / Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider crashed during a practice session and will sit out Saturday night’s race due to soreness in his right hip. According to the team, the rookie’s return is “being evaluated on a race by race basis.”
Forkner was coming on strong prior to the 250SX West break, earning a heat race win at Anaheim 2 and podium finishes at Phoenix and Arlington.
