Milestone, a leading global racing game developer and publisher based in Milan, and Feld Motor Sports, Inc., the worldwide leader in specialized arena and stadium-based motorsports entertainment, released Thursday a new trailer for Monster Energy Supercross 25 – The Official Video Game which offers a behind-the-scenes look at some of the most anticipated features of the franchise’s newest installment.

Overhauling the series from its basis, Monster Energy Supercross 25 – The Official Video Gamewill feature all the official contents of the 2025 Championship season and for the first time, allow players to race the tracks of the current season even before the real riders. Besides featuring the thrills of the ongoing championship, brand-new riding physics will deeply change the gameplay experience for both veterans and newcomers. Players will find significant changes in the overall handling due to a reworked bike balance system, which places greater emphasis on the riders’ weight. On the ground, this will have a huge impact both in the whoops and the fastest sections of the tracks, where fans will need to properly manage the riders’ body to counterbalance the bike movement, and in the most technical parts, granting players greater control over the cornering phase. In addition, the steering angle, traction, and tire-to-ground contact phase have all been revised to provide a more realistic and immersive feeling. Similarly, a renewed stick control system will give players full control of the in-air motion, allowing them to decide how to manage both the riders’ and bikes’ weights after the jump. In this way, performing whips and scrubs will be much more rewarding, and those who master these movements will gain an even greater advantage.

Importantly, the adoption of Unreal Engine 5 has allowed the Milanese team to introduce a dynamic terrain deformation system with evolving ruts, one of the most requested features by the community. For the first time, the track will come to life and will evolve as the race progresses, thus challenging players to adapt their riding to find the best trajectories lap after lap. The new game engine has also enabled the implementation of a Neural AI system which will completely change the way rivals behave during a race, a first in the franchise history. The AI-controlled riders will in fact adjust their tactics and lines on the fly, providing an unpredictable and ever-changing gaming experience.

Monster Energy Supercross 25 – The Official Video Game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC as of April 10, 2025,with Early Access available from April 7, 2025.
