The Bay Area played host to Round 5 of the Monster Energy Supercross Championship Saturday evening.
In the 450SX Class, we saw yet another battle for the lead with reigning champion Ryan Dungey squaring off against Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Eli Tomac late in the race. Cooper Webb also stole headlines with a career night, picking up his first heat win and his first career 450SX podium.
The 250SX race kicked off with a massive pileup in the second turn following a crash from Austin Forkner. Championship contender Justin Hill managed to sneak by, setting him up for a third consecutive victory.
